Ara: Today, the match between New Karman Tola Cricket Club (NKTCC) vs YMCC in the junior division of District Cricket League played under Bhojpur District Cricket Association started at 9:00 am at the playground of Maharaja College. YMCC won the toss and batted first. YMCC scored 142 runs at the loss of 10 wickets in 23 overs. On behalf of YMCC, Abhishek contributed 22 runs, Ashutosh contributed 28 runs and Chandan contributed 15 runs. While bowling on behalf of NKTCC Tejas took maximum three wickets, Golu and Shivansh took two wickets each and Ashutosh and Om took one wicket each.
NKTCC set out to chase the target of 142 runs. The entire team was out after scoring 138 runs in 21.4 overs. While batting on behalf of NKTCC, Akshat contributed 33 runs, Ashutosh contributed the maximum 39 runs, Rajiv Ranjan contributed 18 runs and Shivansh contributed 14 runs. While bowling on behalf of YMCC, Anish took five wickets, Mohan took two wickets and Chandan Took one wicket. YMCC won the match by four runs.
The umpires of today’s match were Shashank and Sachin, scoring was done by Kunal. During the match, District Cricket Association Secretary Vineet Kumar Rai (Gyanu), secretaries of various clubs and senior players were present on the occasion.
