Patna: Ram Bhavan Pandey Memorial Under-15 Inter School Cricket Tournament sponsored by VTech Computer Education will be organised from August 22 at the local Sanjay Gandhi Stadium under the aegis of Track Social Welfare Society. Organising president Ronit Narayan (MD, VTech Computer Education) gave said that Ram Bhavan Pandey had worked a lot for social welfare and sports during his lifetime.
Navin Chandra, secretary, Track Social Welfare Society, said that the tournament will be played on knock-knock basis. A total of 25 teams will be given entry. He said that the matches will be of 25overs a side. Interested teams may contact the ground in-charge Raja and Shubham Pandey on mobile number 7004679190. The last date of entry is August 21.
The winners and runners-up teams of this tournament will be given trophies besides individual prizes to the players. Along with this, the Man of the Match award will be given daily. Along with this, many awards including Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder will be given. In addition to this, budding players will be rewarded. Aadhaar card is mandatory for players for age verification.
