National Sub Junior Kabaddi begins in Moithari, Bihar win

Patna: The grand opening ceremony of the 33rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship organized jointly by Bihar State Kabaddi Association and the East Champaran District Kabaddi Association under the aegis of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, was held at GD Goenka Public School, Motihari.

Chief guest Arjun Award winner Deepak Niwas Hooda, Asian Games gold medalist Rajeev Singh, Kabaddi World Cup gold medalist Sagar Kumar, Patna Pirates star raider Sandeep Kumar, Bihar Olympic Association Secretary Mohammad Mustaq Ahmed, Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay, and East Champaran District Kabaddi Association President Amit Kumar jointly lit the lamp.

Organizing Committee Secretary Aditya Pandey welcomed the guests.
The secretary of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, Kumar Vijay, said that since the level of Kabaddi in the country is at its peak today, it is necessary that we move forward while maintaining it. He also thanked the East Champaran District Kabaddi Association for organizing this competition in a good manner.

Chief Guest Arjun Award winner Deepak Niwas Hooda expressed his gratitude for being made the Chief Guest in this competition and said that players need to spend more and more time on their practice. The place where I am today is the result of practice and hard work. All of you can also achieve more than us with your hard work. He also told the players to give their best performance and wished the organizing committee all the best for a successful event.

On the other hand, the inaugural match was played between Bihar and Assam, in which Bihar won its first league match by defeating Assam 58-11. The second match was played between Haryana and Kerala, in which Haryana won its first league match by defeating Kerala 68- 34. The league matches of other teams will continue until late at night.

District Kabaddi Association Secretary Bhanu Prakash, Vice President Arun Kumar, Preeti Gupta, Joint Secretary Pawan Kumar, Arun Gupta, Abhishek Ranjan, Pawan Saran, Arvind Kumar, Shailendra Mishra, Vikash, Amit Kashyap and others were present on the occasion.
The stage was coordinated by Rajeev Kumar.
