Patna: On the second day of the 68th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship organised by Bihar Ball Badminton Association at Patliputra Sports Complex, Kankarbagh, here, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra maintained their winning streak by winning their respective matches.
In the important league match of the boys category, Tamil Nadu defeated Telangana 31-35,35-28,35-21, Andhra Pradesh defeated Maharashtra 33-35,37-35,35-17, Puducherry defeated Kerala 35-33,35-37,35-26, Uttar Pradesh defeated Jammu and Kashmir by 35-16,35-20. In the girls category, Karnataka defeated Chhattisgarh by 35-15,35-20, Kerala defeated Bihar by 35-25,36-34, Tamil Nadu defeated Rajasthan by 35-14,35-33, Delhi defeated Madhya Pradesh 35-27,29-35,35-32 and West Bengal defeated Jammu and Kashmir by 35-19,35-10.
Today, on the second day of the championship, Patron of Bihar Ball Badminton Association and former Bihar Minister Samir Kumar Mahaseth got introduced to the players and encouraged them. He wished for the success of the event and announced to provide all possible help for the popularity of ball badminton game.
