Muzaffarpur: Two matches were played on Saturday under the District Cricket League organized by Muzaffarpur District Cricket Association, in which in the first match, Bihar State T20 Cricket Academy Kids defeated Police Line Cricket Academy by a huge margin of 8 wickets at the local Shubhankarpur playground.
Police Line Cricket Academy won the toss and batting first, scored 127 runs all out in 25 overs in the scheduled 30 overs match. From Police Line Cricket Academy, Saransh scored 31 runs, Shashank scored 17 runs and Armaan scored 26 runs. For Bihar State T20 Cricket Academy Kids, Manish took 3 wickets, Priyanshu took three wickets, Naitik took three wickets and Mayank took one wicket.
In reply, Bihar State T20 Cricket Academy Kids team scored 132 runs to win in 15 overs at the loss of two wickets. On behalf of Bihar State T20 Cricket Academy Kids, Manish batted brilliantly and scored 93 runs while Jagannath gave a total of 10 runs for his team.
For Police Line, Shashank took one wicket and Arham took one wicket.
Man of the Match was given to Manish of Bihar State T20 Cricket Academy Kids for his excellent batting. Umpires were Vikash Kumar and Akbar.
In an important match of Under-16 District Cricket League, Diamond Cricket Club defeated Ideal Cricket Academy by 9 wickets and achieved full points.
Ideal Cricket Academy, after winning the toss and batting first in the local Police Line playground, could score only 82 runs in the stipulated 30 overs match, losing all the wickets in 29 overs, in which Ankit Kumar scored 22 runs and Junior Yadav scored 10 runs. Ayushman took three wickets, Yashvardhan took two wickets, Ayan Jackie took two wickets, Nitin Yadav, Roshan Kumar and Mukund took one wicket each.
In reply, Diamond Cricket Club team scored 86 runs to win after losing one wicket in 11 overs. On behalf of Diamond Cricket Club, Mukund once again batted brilliantly and scored 39 runs while Ayaan Jackie added 18 runs for his team. Aman Raj got the only success from Ideal Cricket Academy in bowling. The man of the match of today’s match was given to Ayan Jackie of Diamond Cricket Club.
