UP Yoddhas were invited to raid first by Haryana Steelers. However, the Yoddhas did not have the start they wished for, as the Steelers’ raiders outplayed them in both departments, racing ahead with a score of 5-0 within the first three minutes of the game. Shivam Choudhary managed to open the account for UP Yoddhas with the help of a bonus point. A minute later, UP Yoddhas faced an early All-out, resulting in them trailing by seven points. The scorecard read 2-9 in favor of their opponents. Subsequently, both teams traded blows, with the scoresheet continuously running. In the fourteenth minute of the game, Ashu and Harendra of UP Yoddhas showcased exemplary defensive skills. They not only inflicted back-to-back Super Tackles within the same minute but also helped narrow the gap for their side. However, just before the end of the first half, the Steelers inflicted another All-out, concluding the first half with a score of 27-12 in their favor.

In the second half, the initial minutes witnessed a neck-to-neck competition, with both sides scoring a mix of raiding and defensive points. However, UP Yoddhas staged a comeback by inflicting their first All-Out on Haryana Steelers, reducing the 19-point gap to just 9 points in the eleventh minute of the second half. Despite their efforts, a super raid and another All-Out by the Steelers over the Yoddhas made the latter’s attempt go in vain, and they found themselves trailing by 17 points with just four minutes to go in the game. Gagan Gowda displayed his acrobatic skills to earn a Super Raid in the final minutes, but it was too late, as Haryana Steelers walked away with a comfortable 50-34 win.
