CK Nayudu Trophy: Uttarakhand in driver’s seat against Bihar

Patna: In the CK Nayudu U23 tournament being played at Maharana Pratap College ground, Uttarakhand took the lead in the first innings against Bihar on the very first day. In this match, Uttarakhand won the toss and invited Bihar to bat first. Bihar team was all out after scoring only 72 runs in its first innings.   Uttarakhand, who came to bat in reply to Bihar’s 72 runs, were playing at 258 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the first innings till the end of the first day’s play.

For Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played the highest innings of 22 runs, apart from him Suraj Kashyap played 15 runs and Anuj Raj played 11 runs. For Uttarakhand, Satyam Baliyan took 5 wickets, Ankit took 4 wickets and Avneesh took 4 wickets. Took 1 wicket.

Opener Avneesh Sudha, who came to bat for Uttarakhand, scored a brilliant century (154*), apart from him Prateek played an inning of 30 runs, Uttarakhand took a lead of 187 runs in the first innings over Bihar. For Bihar, Anuj, Akash and Basudev took 2 wickets each, while Suraj got one wicket.
