Patna, July 28: Bihar players won six bronze medals in the WEKAF World Arnis Invitational Championship, held in Philippines. The Bihar players returned Patna amid rousing welcome accorded by sports fans and office-bearers of Arnis association at Patna Junction.
Sports lovers welcomed the Bihar team members with the beats of Dhol and Nagada. They also garlanded the players at the station. The players who won the bronze medal said that this time all of us participated in the event for the first time and we got the bronze medals. Next time we will certainly win gold and silver medals, they said. Altogether Indian players won 14 bronze medals and one silver medal in the championships.
