Patna: Bihar Football Association secretary Syed Imtiaz Hussain on Saturday announced the list of players from Bihar for 77th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy to be held at Kokrajhar.
AG Bihar goalkeeper Mohammad Fahmi will lead the team. Other members of the tea are Ankit Kumar Rai, Mohammad Tauheed Ahmed, Dharmendra Kumar, Abhijeet Hemram, Ankit Kumar, Rafal Soren, Manoj Kisko, Prince Kumar, Arif Khan, Arif Siddiqui, Yuvraj Kumar, Ejaz Qureshi, Santosh Kumar, Suraj Toppo, Saryu Kumar, Saharsh Kumar, Shashikant Chauhan, Nikhil Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Sohail Alam and Ishwar Kumar Yadav.
Arun Shah will be the head coach, Santosh Kumar Singh will be the team manager and Dr Abhishek Kumar Raghuvanshi will be the team physio.
Hussain further said that Bihar team will play its first match against Assam on October 8. Bihar have been placed in group D along with Railways, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Assam and Himachal Pradesh.
