Patna: Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) won the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament title defeating Sudarshan XI by 7 wickets in the final at Cricket Academy of Bihar ground on Monday.
Sudarshan XI won the toss and batting first scored 96 runs losing all wickets in 21.4 overs. In reply, the Cricket Academy of Bihar team won the match by scoring 98 runs for three wickets in 16 overs. Tanmay of the winning team became the player of the match.
The players were awarded by ward councilor Indradeep Chandravanshi and former captain of Indian youth cricket team Amikar Dayal. Umpire Ram Bhagat, Rajeev Nandan, scorer Raja, Ankit ji, Shubham, Manish Paul, Rajesh Ranjan and commentator Mrityunjay Jha were specially honoured on this occasion. Organising Secretary Santosh Tiwari welcomed everyone while Naveen Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.
