Patna: Anisabad CC defeated Blue Star CC by 8 wickets in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League at Khemnichak ground on Tuesday. The match between Sharma Sporting and SGGS College could not be played due to rain.
At Khemnichak Ground, Blue Star CC won the toss and batting first scored 106 runs losing all wickets in 21.4 overs. Aman scored 37 runs. In reply, Anisabad CC team won the match by scoring 109 runs for two wickets in 10.5 overs. Dharmendra of the winning team was given the man of the match award.
The match was scheduled to be played between Sharma Sporting and SGGS College at Mangal Talab, but the match was called off due to rain. In this match SGGS College won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Sharma Sporting scored 22 runs for one wicket in 4.1 overs and rain interrupted the play and the match was called off.
Dhananjay Kumar Singh, chairman of the league committee said that Sharma Sporting have registered their protest against the players of SGGS College. It is being investigated. Decision will be taken after investigation.
