Patna: Malsalami XI, Sharma Sporting and JPCC won their respective matches played on Thursday in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League at three different grounds.
At Jagjivan Stadium, Malasalami XI defeated Blue Star by 227 runs, Sharma Sporting defeated Vidyarthi CC by 119 runs at Jaguar Cricket Academy Ground and JPCC defeated Vaishali CC by 36 runs at Khemnichak Ground.
Malasalami XI won the toss and scored 301 runs for five wickets in 35 overs thanks to Govind’s century. In reply, Blue Star’s team was bundled out for 74 runs in 12.3 overs. Suraj Kumar Yadav took five wickets. Suraj Kumar Yadav was given the player of the match award.
At Jaguar Cricket Academy, Vidyarthi CC won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Sharma Sporting scored 267 runs for 8 wickets in 35 overs. Rishi Kumar scored a century (113 runs). Harshveer Singh scored 68 runs.
In reply Vidyarthi CC team got all out for 148 runs in 30.2 overs. Rishi Kumar became the player of the match.
At Khemnichak Ground, JPCC won the toss and batting first scored 278 runs losing all wickets in 35 overs. Saif Abraham scored 79 and Harsh Kashyap scored 75 runs.
In reply, Vaishali CC team got all out for 242 runs in 33 overs. Krish scored 64 runs. Kunal of the winning team, who scored 45 runs and took three wickets, got the player of the match award.
