Ranchi: St Xavier’s School, Doranda (Ranchi) will take on St Xavier’s School, Sahibganj in the first semi-final of the Inter Jesuit Basketball Tournament at St. Xavier’s School, Doranda courts on Sunday.
In the second semi-final, Loyola Jamshedpur will face St John’s English Medium School, Ranchi.
The four teams qualified for the semi-finals, earning best points in the pool matches.
Earlier, the diamond jubilee edition of Inter Jesuit Basketball Tournament was inaugurated with great pomp and show at St. Xavier’s School, Doranda, Ranchi. Father Florence Kujur, S.J. was the chief guest on the occasion. The meet was declared open after congratulatory messages by the chief guest followed by the words of Father Ignatius Lakra , S.J. Principal, SXD.
