Prashant Singh hits 89 as Rest of Western Zone score 252 in BAC Super League

Patna: Prashant Singh scored 89 runs as Rest of Western Zone made 252 runs in their first innings against Kaimur in the Super League of Bihar Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament being organized by Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) on Wednesday. At the end of the first day’s play, Kaimur 29 runs in 9 overs without any loss.

Rest of Western Zone won the toss and decided to bat first. Other contributors for Rest of Western Zone were Abhishek 14, Utkarsh 42, Om Kumar 11, Aditya 38 and Shubham Kumar 15.

For Kaimur, Gaurav took 1 for 13, Vikas Patel took 4 for 73, Dhanesh Chauhan took 4 for 44, Aditya took 1 wicket for 38 runs.

In Siwan vs Rest of Patliputra Zone match at Green Valley Ground, Gulab Bagh, after winning the toss, Rest of Patliputra invited Siwan to bat first. At the end of the day, Siwan scored 260 runs losing 8 wickets. Imran Nazir contributed 57 runs, Shabbir Khan 44 not out, Mohammad Kaifi Shamsheer 34 runs, Tariq Jameel 31 runs and Navneet Kumar Singh contributed 29 runs from Siwan.

For Rest of Patliputra, Prashant Kumar Singh got three wickets, Abhishek Anand and Aditya Anand got two wickets each.
