Patna: Bihar softball teams (boys and girls) for 44th Senior National Championship to be held in Puri (Odisha) from February 5 to 9 have been announced. The teams were announced based on the performance of the players in the training camp. This information was given by Gautam Kanodia, president of Bihar Softball Association.
He said that the command of the boys’ team has been handed over to Pramod Kumar while Deepak Kumar will be the vice-captain. In the girls’ section, Sheuli will lead the team while Aarohi Raj will be the vice captain.
Bihar team left on Friday for Puri. Earlier on Friday, president of Bihar Softball Association Gautam Kanodia, chief patron Ajay Narayan Sharma, vice president Sanjay Kumar, Raj Shekhar, treasurer Pawan Kumar Pappu, and former secretary Madhu Sharma, players Bipin Kumar and Mohit Kumar wished the team best of luck.
