Patna: Bihar faced a defeat in their second match in the women’s kabaddi event of the 36th National Games- Gujarat in Ahmedabad. Bihar lost to Himachal Pradesh 17-41 in a nearly one-sided match.
In the first half of this Pool ‘A’ match, Bihar were chasing 9-19 against Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh team dominated in the second half as well. Himachal Pradesh beat Bihar 22-8 in the second half.
Bihar will next face Maharashtra in Pool ‘A’ while Himachal Pradesh will face Gujarat.
Maharashtra team is on top with two wins in this pool. Maharashtra defeated Himachal Pradesh in its first match and Gujarat in the second match.
After this defeat of Bihar, the road to reaching the semifinals has become very difficult. They now have to beat Maharashtra at any cost.
