Patna:. For the first time, a selection trial was organised at La Martiniere World School, Sampatchak for the selection of the Bihar team to participate in the 41st Junior National Boys-Girls Softball Championship to be held from February 21 to February 25 in Patna.
About 166 boys and girls from all over Bihar participated in this selection trial. Giving this information, Softball Association of Bihar president Gautam Kanodia said that after this a camp for the probable team will be organised and after that the final team will be selected.
Joint secretary Rupak Kumar said that a selection committee was formed for the selection process. Rajesh Kumar Chintu, Pramod Kumar and Saket Kumar were the selectors in the boys’ team while Sakshi Gupta, Seyuli Kumari Ranjan and Zeenat Parveen were responsible for the selection of the girls’ team. The convenor of this selection trial was Vipin Kumar.
