Patna: The 14th Hockey Bihar Senior Men’s State Championship 2024, organised by Hockey Patna, is underway at the BRC ground in Danapur.
Match Results from 21st October:
First Match:
Rohtas defeated Purnia 5-1, with Rohtas’ captain, Vivekananda, scoring all five goals. Pratik Tudu scored the solitary goal for Purnia.
Second Match:
East Champaran triumphed over Begusarai 6-0. Satyam Pandey led the charge with three goals, while Amritanshu, Suraj, and Gogan Kumar each added one goal for East Champaran.
Third Match:
Bhojpur emerged victorious against Samastipur with a 4-0 scoreline. Harshit Kumar netted two goals, while Naveen Kumar and Rehan Iqbal each scored once for Bhojpur.
Fourth Match:
Saharsa edged past Siwan in a closely contested match, winning 3-2. Siwan’s Suraj Gond scored the opening goal, but Saharsa’s Neeraj Kumar equalised. Saharsa then took the lead through goals from Sonu Kumar and another from Neeraj Kumar, making it 3-1. In the final minute, Siwan’s captain, Ashish Shandilya, scored to end the match at 3-2.
